Frances Alvarez is a former tribal gaming regulator with 17 years serving the San Pasqual Tribal Gaming Commission. In 2018, she ventured to begin a new career in the technology industry where she accepted a position with Merydyan Technologies. As the VP of Professional Services, she leverages her professional experience in licensing and background investigations to help tribal entities rediscover efficient practices through technical solutions. She is a board member of the Tribal Gaming Protection Network where she serves as Secretary since 2016. Her proudest professional accomplishment in Indian Gaming is serving as the Chairwoman for the Women in Tribal Gaming Symposium.
