Dr. Bo Bernhard began his research career at Harvard University, where he completed a double major magna cum laude thesis on the impacts of the gaming industry while starting on both the baseball and soccer teams. Those research analyses have since been extended worldwide and presented on all six inhabited continents. Over the course of his career, Dr. Bernhard has been given both the top teaching awards and the top early-career research awards in the university. Most recently, he was awarded the Philip G. Satre Chair in Gaming Studies, a prestigious position created for his mentor, Dr. Bill Eadington, and that unites the gaming programs at the University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas -- where he serves as Executive Director of the International Gaming Institute. Each fall, Dr. Bernhard also moderates the famed "Executive Development Program," a ten-day leadership academy launched a quarter century ago in Lake Tahoe, and boasting more than 1400 industry graduates.
