As the Director of Business Innovation and Technology Strategy for Caesars Entertainment, Andrew is part of a team that evaluates emerging technology and business models for the company. On behalf of Caesars Entertainment, he leads the Black Fire Innovation partnership with UNLV. Baca studied international business in UNLV's Honors College as an undergraduate and rounded-out his studies with a Masters' of informatics from the Engineering College. By 2011, his last year in graduate school, he'd landed a job with Las Vegas Sands Corp. as a corporate e-commerce project manager where he recruited UNLV students to join him in the industry. Baca helped establish the Rebel Venture Fund, UNLV's student-led venture capital fund where he designed the identity, handled the tech migrations with investment platforms, determined the governance structure, and more. Following Las Vegas Sands, Baca was recruited by the Sartini Family Office as employee number one to start what has become one of the largest digital platforms for the outdoor enthusiasts. Following 3 years of success in the outdoor industry, Baca joined Caesars Entertainment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business from UNLV. Master's degree in informatics with a focus in new venture management and graduate certificate in Business Intelligence from UNLV. Founding member of UNLV's venture capital fund, The Rebel Venture Fund.
