Aurene Martin is the President of Spirit Rock Consulting, Inc., and a member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. She has extensive experience in Federal Indian law and policy, having served in both Tribal government as in-house counsel and in the Federal government in key posts responsible for developing Indian law and policy. She has served in both the Unites States Congress and as the Acting Assistant Secretary – Indian Affairs at the United States Department of Interior. At Spirit Rock Consulting, Ms. Martin represents Indian tribes on Federal Indian law and policy issues.
