George Rover is the Managing Partner of Princeton Global Strategies, LLC (PGS), a strategic advisory firm specializing in all aspects of land based and online casino and sports betting law and policy, including investigations, licensing, casino operations, internal controls, AML, and corporate compliance. Prior to establishing PGS, Rover served for 25 years as a Deputy Attorney General and then an Assistant Attorney with the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Office of the Attorney General.
He joined the New Jersey State Attorney General's Office in 1992 as a Deputy Attorney General in the Office of Legal Affairs. In January 1999, Rover was promoted to Assistant Attorney General and named the Special Assistant to the Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE). In August 2011, Rover was appointed Deputy Director of the NJDGE and placed in charge of its Atlantic City office until his retirement in November 2016.
In November 2018, Rover was appointed Chief Integrity Officer of the newly formed Sports Wagering Integrity Monitoring Association, a not for profit organization created to bring together operators, regulators, law enforcement and other stakeholders to identify suspicious betting activity.
