With the return of trade shows, Las Vegas-based casino industry publisher CDC Gaming Reports has resumed its popular From the Floor special edition reports, created by our expert team of contributors.

From the Floor was first created in 2017 as a way to provide the most comprehensive media coverage of gaming industry trade shows such as G2E and the National Indian Gaming Assocation trade show. Most recently, when reporting from the 2021 rendition of the NIGA trade show, Rege Behe, Buck Wargo, and Buddy Frank covered panels on trending subjects including “Influencers can generate buzzworthy events for casinos”, “Cyberattacks rising sharply at tribal casinos in COVID-19 era,” and “short-term hit, but long-term gain, from non-smoking policies.”

The three will be joined by long-time CDC Gaming Reports contributors Mark Grutze and Bob Dancer to cover more trending topics, discussions, and products at this year’s Global Gaming Expo. Panels covered will include “Digital Payments Myths, Misconceptions, and Opportunities,” “How the U.S. Can Avoid an Advertising-Driven Backlash,” and more from the soon-to-be finalized G2E 2021 schedule.

Publisher Cory Roberts will be attending and creating a daily set of 10 Photos From the Floor. Advertising manager Jim McGlasson will be traveling the floor connecting with CDC’s partners from around the world.
