I’ve walked through the halls of The Venetian Expo more times than I can count after having spent more than 20 years in the association and trade show industry. Naturally, I thought I’d seen it all. But my first G2E experience in October proved otherwise. Never have I seen an industry gathering of G2E’s magnitude.
Even as an outsider looking in, Global Gaming Expo 2022 clearly delivered on being “where the global gaming industry comes together.”
The breadth of the industry was in full display and could be seen from the expansive exhibit hall to the robust educational content and special events held. If you had a chance to attend the G2E keynotes, you’ll understand when I say it was a packed house! I found engaged audiences in every room and the buzzing energy from the exhibit hall set the tone for a successful week.
While I’m no stranger to trade shows, I am new to the gaming industry. I’m energized by this industry’s incredible growth and increasing relevance. It’s thrilling to be joining the American Gaming Association (AGA) at a time when the association and this show are clearly so critical to serving and convening the industry. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work alongside my AGA and RX peers to build upon the show’s success.
As we look to 2023, work is well underway to create new and exciting opportunities that deliver value and experiences that can’t be found anywhere but G2E. Stay tuned in the coming months for a front row seat to the next chapter in G2E history. I look forward to getting to know this community and welcome your partnership as we build for the future of G2E and our industry.
