As the executive director for the AGEM (Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers), the trade association for the gaming supplier sector, I look forward to G2E each year because it brings the global gaming supplier sector together in Las Vegas and showcases our industry in so many ways. Through exhibits of new and existing products on the show floor, events throughout the week which promote engagement with customers and other industry colleagues, and the educational opportunities at panel and keynote sessions, G2E really is where the gaming industry comes together.
While the past few years have certainly been trying for AGEM members and their respective teams, this year’s show will remind us how resilient our industry remains and how it continues to innovate and invest in its future.
For its part, AGEM is looking forward to connecting with its members, friends and colleagues to see their latest offerings—especially those international companies we have not been able to see these past two years. G2E provides a chance for me to welcome and engage with potential new members and participants so we can continue advocating for the long-term health and success of our regulated gaming industry across the globe.
AGEM will also recognize longtime contributors to our sector with the presentation of its annual AGEM Memorial Awards on Wednesday afternoon. Coming on the heels of the AGA’s Gaming Hall of Fame Class of 2022 induction of two longtime executives in the supplier sector, Gavin Isaacs and Mike Rumbolz, these events highlight how integral this sector has been in commercial gaming’s past, current, and future successes.
We appreciate our friends at the American Gaming Association and RX and look forward to a successful G2E 2022. Safe travels to everyone headed to Las Vegas next month and I hope to see you at the show.
Register today to attend G2E 2022, taking place October 10-13 (Education: October 10-13 | Expo Hall: October 11-13) at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
