Tribal gaming is facing a crisis at the federal level. Don't miss this keynote featuring the following industry experts: Phil Hogen, chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC); Deron Marquez, chairman of the San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians; George Skibine, acting deputy assistant secretary of policy and economic development for the Office of Indian Management at the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Mark Van Norman, executive director of the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA). From legislation to limit off-reservation casinos to regulations establishing the technology of Class II machines, the federal government appears to have set its sights on Native American casinos and gaming operations. The keynote panel will discuss the developments with those most deeply involved and how revisions of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act may affect current and future operations.
