NEW G2E EXHIBIT PAVILIONS SHOWCASE LATEST PRODUCT INNOVATIONS IN F&B;, DESIGN AND DÉCOR
Returning Pavilions Highlight Bingo, Interactive Gaming, Security and Surveillance

LAS VEGAS—Special exhibit pavilions focusing on the hottest product and service solutions in food and beverage (F&B;) and casino resort design and décor will debut at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2004, taking place Oct. 5-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  The two new areas of the show floor join three returning pavilions highlighting bingo, interactive gaming, and security and surveillance. Each of the five pavilions will be supported by a full conference track within the G2E conference, the largest educational event in the world for the gaming industry.

“Combined with the action on the main show floor, these additions make G2E the largest, most comprehensive business-to-business marketplace in the gaming industry,” said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of the American Gaming Association (AGA). “The pavilions highlight the latest trends in emerging growth sectors, giving casino executives a first look at the products and services they need to keep pace in the increasingly diversified industry. Attendees know there is no better way to stay on top of what’s new than to attend G2E.”

The new F&B; Pavilion, themed A Night on the Town, will provide leading F&B; executives and decision makers with access to more than 40 top F&B; vendors in 8,000 square feet of exhibit space.  Arranged in a unique circular boulevard, vendors will showcase products ranging from food and beverage and food service equipment and supplies to technology, décor and other items. Featured exhibitors include The Coca-Cola Company, Oneida, Pepsi-Cola Company, Island Oasis, Ocean Spray, Classic Wines of California and Cardinal Glassware Inc.

Also new at G2E 2004, the Design & Décor Pavilion will feature 5,000 square feet of exhibit space created to help gaming executives keep pace with the cutting-edge products and services that will literally change the face of the industry.  Buyers will have the opportunity to view unique products and services in areas such as interior design, themed environments, spa, architecture, land use, construction, signage, décor, landscape architecture, furniture/fixtures and golf course designers. Featured exhibitors include BCM Architectural, Gotta Have It Golf, Preserved Treescapes International and Summit Structures.

G2E 2004 will also mark the return of three popular exhibit pavilions from last year’s show focusing on key growth sectors in the industry.

According to the Council on Competitiveness, 88 percent of senior executives rate security as a top or high priority for their companies.  G2E’s Security & Surveillance Pavilion, sponsored by ASIS International, addresses this need by featuring world-class suppliers of security devices and services showcasing products such as facial recognition software, access control, monitoring, alarms, security vehicles and consulting services. Exhibitors in the 8,000 square feet pavilion include industry leaders such as Bosch Security Systems, Honeywell Video Systems, Medeco High Security Locks, Panasonic Security Systems, Pelco, Reliable Security, Sanyo Fisher Company and Tatung Company of America, Inc.

"The G2E show provides a great forum for our company to demonstrate the latest developments in video security and surveillance technologies to gaming professionals,” said Frank Ambram, vice president of Panasonic Security Systems.  “The gaming category represents an important, continually growing business category for us, and G2E delivers the audience we want to reach."

With the recent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to let stand lower court decisions affirming the legality of electronic bingo devices, Class II Indian gaming stands to grow significantly in the coming years. G2E’s Bingo Pavilion gives buyers the tools to compete in this emerging sector in gaming.  This pavilion is where the world’s leading bingo and charitable gaming suppliers will gather at G2E, including manufacturers and suppliers of bingo paper, Class II electronic games, daubers, jar tickets, pull tabs and other products related to bingo and charitable gaming.  Since the 2001 introduction of the pavilion, G2E has experienced a more than 400 percent increase in registered attendees specific to bingo and charitable gaming. Featured exhibitors at G2E 2004 include Electronic Game Solutions, Fortunet, Game Tech International, Jenosys Technologies, Melange Computer Services, Planet Bingo and Rocket Games.

The Interactive Gaming Pavilion, also introduced in 2001, will continue to highlight the premier online gaming suppliers of software and Web site products and technologies. The pavilion will feature exhibits from AngelCiti Entertainment, EGaming Review, Interactive Gaming Council, Net Entertainment, Nordic Lottery Systems and Playtech.
