2ND ANNUAL TRADESHOW WEEK AWARDS HONOR 50 FASTEST GROWING SHOWS IN NORTH AMERICA
Los Angeles, CA—Tradeshow Week (TSW), the global exhibition industry news magazine published by Reed Business Information, has announced the winners of the 2nd Annual TSW Fastest 50.
Celebrating the 50 fastest growing tradeshows in North America, the 2nd Annual TSW Fastest 50 (www.tswfastest50.com) will be celebrated at a weekend of events hosted by the city of Dallas and the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau from November 12-14.
The top 50 list includes first-time winners such as AABB Annual Meeting & Transfusion Medicine Expo; AIA National Convention & Design Exposition; Coffee Fest - Las Vegas & Seattle; Family Medicine Forum; Global Gaming Expo; Intl. Pool & Spa Expo; Iowa Flower, Lawn & Garden Show & Sale; KioskCom; Springtime; and World of Asphalt Show & Conference.
Second-time winners include American Dental Assn. Annual Session; ASTRO Annual Meeting; Dealernews Intl. Powersports Dealer Expo; Hospitality Design Expo & Conference; Intl. Jewelry General Merchandise Fair; Intl. Security Conference Expo West; Intl. WorkBoat Show; Pennsylvania RV & Camping Show; Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference; and Premiere Beauty Show.
“The inaugural event was a great success and the TSW Fastest 50 model allows us to build upon that momentum,” explained Adam Schaffer, Publisher of Tradeshow Week. “The new batch of 2004 winners demonstrates the rapid growth and continued success of the exhibition industry.”
TSW Fastest 50 shows were selected based on the total net square footage growth and number of exhibiting companies between the years of 2001-2003. The judging team comprised of the editorial and research staff at Tradeshow Week. In addition to honoring the top 50 shows, TSW Fastest 50 will honor the fastest growing trade, association and consumer shows, as well as fastest growing show overall.
Representatives from each winning show will attend the celebration weekend showcasing the best of Dallas including a reception at the Nasher Sculpture Center and a conference at the Dallas Convention Center featuring special keynote speaker, Mark Cuban, owner of Dallas Mavericks. The weekend will culminate in a black-tie, awards gala honoring the TSW Fastest 50 winners hosted by Master of Ceremonies, Peter Greenberg, Travel Editor of the NBC Today Show.
