ASSOCIATION OF GAMING EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS (AGEM)
TO CO-SPONSOR
LATIN AMERICAN GAMING & ENTERTAINMENT EXPO (LGE)

AGEM-ALAJA Combination Expands Scope of Suppliers, Buyers Meeting at LGE
Shuffle Master Joins LGE 2004

Organizers of Latin American Gaming & Entertainment Expo, the leading Latin American trade exhibition and conference for the burgeoning Latin and South American gaming communities, announces the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) as an official co-sponsor of LGE for a 10-year period. The agreement begins with LGE 2004, scheduled for November 9 - 11, 2004 at La Rural in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As part of the sponsorship, AGEM members will participate in various facets of LGE 2004 activity, including exhibit, conference, and special events, with a full schedule of LGE programming announced in the coming weeks. AGEM represents some of the most successful and influential companies in the business of gaming worldwide.

As a leading organizing body of gaming equipment manufacturers, AGEM joins Latin American-based ALAJA, Asociación Latinoamericana de Juegos de Azar, the leading association representing Latin-American based casino operations, as LGE sponsor. As a result, both the supply side and buy side with the industry will be fully integrated into LGE’s exhibition, programming and marketing plans.  Current AGEM members include: AC Coin, Aristocrat Technologies, Atronic, Bally Gaming and Systems, IGT, IDX, Gary Platt Manufacturing, Gaming Partners International, JCM American Corporation, Konami Gaming, KSK, Shuffle Master Gaming, 3M Touch Systems, Sigma Game, Summit Gaming, TCS America, TransAct Technologies, WMS Gaming, and Wells-Gardner Electronics Corporation.  ALAJA membership represents Latin America’s leading gaming buyers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hungary, Mexico, Monaco, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru, Spain, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.

“We’re proud to join as a co-sponsor of LGE and help build it into the leading full service trade show provider in the Latin American gaming community,” said Walt Stowe, President, AGEM.  “LGE accomplished a great deal in its inaugural year by making its value and presence known to the Latin American gaming community.  That’s why we’re joining with ALAJA and Reed/E. J. Kraus as co-sponsors. As momentum continues to build for the Latin American gaming community, AGEM's affiliation with LGE is the perfect marriage for all the sponsors and that’s why many of our members are looking forward to the show.”

Shuffle Master Joins LGE 2004
Shuffle Master, the leading table game manufacturer, will also participate at LGE this year as a first time exhibitor. "The expansion of Latin American gaming community needs to be served by a strong trade show like LGE for growing number of buyers in the region," says Brooke Dunn, Senior Vice President with Shuffle Master.  "Coming off the heels of a successful launch last year, and now in concert with the AGEM, LGE organizers have successfully made their valuable industry mark with us and other leaders in the industry. Participating in LGE 2004 is an extremely viable and opportune business-to-business meeting ground for Shuffle Master with the Latin American gaming market. We look forward to meeting with buyers at LGE this November."
