G2E Mohegan Sun Oyster Open: A Culinary Shell Game
What Gets Shucked In Vegas, Stays In Vegas.
As anyone who’s tried it knows, separating an oyster from its shell requires skill. Opening 24 oysters perfectly in no more than 3 minutes--well shucks, that requires remarkable skill. And remarkable skill is just what the G2E Mohegan Sun Oyster Open will test. Jasper White, owner of the Summer Shack in Boston, Cambridge, and at Mohegan Sun, along with Cory Harwell, General Manager, Nine Fine Irishmen, the Pub at New York, New York Hotel & Casino, will emcee the finals of this competition at G2E this year.
At the finals, a total of 24 shuckers will vie for a $500 cash prize and a weekend package at Mohegan Sun that includes a feast at the Summer Shack during your stay. And, the winner of the final competition at G2E will be invited to compete at the Mohegan Sun Oyster Open at the SunWineFest 2005 in January at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Airfare, meals and accommodations will be provided by Mohegan Sun.
