Title: 1BI02: Cooperative Approach: Drafting, Crafting and Enacting Regulations Date: Tuesday, September 13, 2025 Start Time: 9:10am End Time: 10:00am Description: While many existing bingo regulations have proven to be examples of what not to do, the Commonwealth of Virgina used an innovative process to develop regulations that are the exception to the rule. When the VA Department of Charitable Gaming elected to revise its rules, department representatives held focus groups across the state and gathered input from all market segments prior to drafting the regulations. This session will discuss the process they used and examine how they are on track to have the regulations in place more than six months prior to their target date.
