Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Announces New Dates for 2002 Trade Show and Conference
Norwalk , CT—The second annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E) will take place September 17 - 19, 2002, in the North Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The North Halls offer expanded exhibit space with over 220,000 net square feet and provide additional space for the conference. The only gaming trade show and conference produced by the industry and for the industry, G2E is organized jointly by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions.
“When we started G2E last year, we promised that we would always listen to buyers and sellers and incorporate their advice into our planning,” said AGA President and CEO Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. “These dates reflect our interest in accommodating requests for expanded exhibit and conference space from our U.S. and international participants.”
Added Lorenz Hassenstein, Vice President, Reed Exhibitions, “These new dates align with industry buying cycles, which are mid-to late September through early to mid-October. They also allow domestic and international customers who had summer travel plans additional time to prepare for the event. Furthermore, we feel that the dates consider the feelings of all customers by being a reasonable distance from the anniversary of September 11th.”
Although the show dates immediately follow Yom Kippur, Reed Exhibitions and the AGA will do everything possible to accommodate observance and travel requirements. Further information will be made available on the G2E Web site at www.globalgamingexpo.com.
